excellent quality & easy installation December 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have some new Bose headphones, about the same price, and the headphones on this Plantronic headset gives me better fidelity but that may be the result of coming out of the USB port on my laptop rather than going through the headphone jack of my laptop. On my '08 MacBook there was no installation, it was just plug and play after (doing the obvious and) looking under System Preferences > Sound. I listen primarily to strings (guitar and violin) and they just sing through this headset. And I appreciate the volume control and handy mute button. But there is a shortcoming for me at least -- why such a long cord?
Cheaply made for the price November 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I often use a headset with my PC for chats, recording and rosetta stone. I liked this headset a lot but the metel that holds the two pieces together bent and them the mic stopped working. the mute button never worked either.
excellent headset October 3, 2008 The headset is great... However, the USB had some problems and kept on disconnecting so I had to remove it. Overall, I am very happy with this product...
Very satisfied August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The headset was exactly what I expected after reading previous reviews. The material is very thin and light - not something I would want to travel with. I have a large head, and the fit is very comfortable - very light on the ears. The sound is good, although I don't listen to quality music with them. The mike is two-way adjustable. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
Works well so far August 27, 2008 I've used the product a few times. So far, it has worked well. Rated it a 4 because longevity is an issue I'd consider in a rating, and I haven't had it long enough yet--but Amazon emailed me twice, so....(no complaint).
