 Cheap piece of junk January 4, 2009
I bought this stand hoping for a simple, inexpensive means of using my laptop with better ergonomics and airflow around my Dell. After 2 weeks one hinge broke from simply assembling. Amazon quickly replaced.
Second one broke after about 4 months. Again the hinges with minimal use.
This is not even worth $20.

Basic tilt stand with hole cut in to let computer breath better. Hole doesnt line up with all my heat escape holes. Dropped it on carpet and a hinge broke...brittle plastic. I think this works but is worth less than $10, not $20 as charged.I also have a Belkin u shaped stand with no hinges and a fan and all exhaust holes breath...better.

I'm very pleased with the Kensington Cooling Stand for my notebook computer. It puts the computer at the right height for typing making it easier on your wrists. I can sit for hours and not have any pain. I'm glad I ordered it.

My wife was getting neck cramps from looking down at the laptop all day. We ordered this and it works well although I wish it could be adjusted higher.
