No fuss at all January 6, 2009 Basically it's plug and play. Used it with my desktop and netbook without a hitch.
Tech Review December 28, 2008 I purchased this external optical drive to go with my new mini laptop. It works great, is silent, and fast. I love it. The only draw back for me, is that it is slightly heavier and larger than the laptop. This is not a big deal though, as it is quite sturdy and well made. I believe it will travel well and will be extremely useful for those times when I am provided CD/DVD materials as opposed to flash drives.
Solid Product December 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD/DVD Writer works great. I use it to burn CDs from my old album collection. I've also burned backup DVDs of my hard drive. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the Nero software that comes with it is a little bit slow and clunky to use. Works fine, but not slick.
thiis the best writer I have owned December 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful

I just got this product in the mail and i'm more than happy with it! I run a window's xp and it works very well. The only cons i would say it has is that its a bit slow burning. I love the program that came with it, its a good organized program. It shipped in about a week or so, and the price is great too! I would definently recommend it.
